Working at Credo
From your first day at Credo, you will be an integral member of the firm, a real contributor, a potential future Partner.
Working in small case teams, you'll be taking on exciting and challenging projects from the outset, working directly with Partners and Managers to solve critical business issues.
We pride ourselves on our supportive and collaborative environment, and we ensure that our consultants have every opportunity to grow their skills and become top performers.
Career progression at Credo is based on merit alone. With promotion opportunities every six months, and a path from graduate to partner in 12 promotions, high achievers move quickly up the firm.
Credo alumni have moved on to successful careers in leading companies across a wide range of industries while other of our consultants have moved on to do an MBA with some of the world’s leading business schools – whatever people choose, we try and support their transition wherever we can.
A market leading graduate package
Credo continues to grow strongly and is a highly profitable firm: we benchmark against our peers to make sure that we lead the market on graduate remuneration.
Credo consultants also receive a half-yearly bonus, based directly on the company’s profits over the previous half year. This is the same fixed percentage of salary for all consultants, which aligns employees’ incentives with the overall business, and takes out internal competitiveness – promotion based on individual performance, rather than bonus based on relative performance, is the key to enhanced remuneration.
As a highly profitable consulting firm, our bonus typically represents a higher percentage of salary than for competitor organisations. Graduates joining the firm have not earned less than 25% of salary in bonus in any of the last five years.
Location of cases
The majority of our projects are London based, and we try to avoid lengthy projects out of the office. This approach allows for more time spent with family and friends, rather than regular weeks on the road.
However, as we have a significant amount of international work, there are times when projects are undertaken in a foreign country, or require travelling to meet our clients. Wherever possible, we try and accommodate the preferences of our people – whether it is be staff that wish to be in London, or those that wish to see the world.
We are also accepting applications for permanent positions in our Dubai office, which is developing a consultancy presence across a number of Middle East geographies. London-based Consultants may have the opportunity for an interim placement in the Credo Dubai office.
Credo is a company that understands people have lives away from their desks. Of course, all consulting is project-driven and at times can be intense, but we do a lot to mitigate the worst. Credo Managers set realistic deadlines, make sure projects are resourced appropriately, and ensure the visibility of upcoming workloads.
